Come and walk with the Portland Alliance in the 2008 Portland AIDS Walk!

Thanks to Portland Alliance member, JoAnn Dohn, the Alliance for a Better World will have its own walking team in the 2008 Portland AIDS Walk, which is produced by the Cascade AIDS Project. Alliance members everywhere are invited to join the Portland Alliance team for a day of purpose and pleasure! If for any reason you won't be able to make it, please consider supporting your Portland brothers and sisters from a distance.

The Center unveils a localized Alliance Calendar and Directory System

If you haven't noticed already, there are some exciting new features available at the Center's web site. Among the most noteworthy, is the new localized Alliance Calendar and Directory System. With this system, anyone anywhere in the world, who is helping to create a better world by helping individuals or organizations empower themselves can add a profile for their self and/or their organization to the localized directory as well as promote their own local individual or organizational empowerment events. And all of this is offered at no charge! Obviously, this is very exciting news and we are anxious to hear your comments and suggestions for future improvements. In the meantime, enjoy!
